Beijing is a city of constant change. It is where anything can happen - the good, the bad and the ugly.

 

2017 had been a particularly hard hit on numerous establishments and homes in the hutongs. In our previous issue we explored bars and music venues through Sanlitun and Gulou, to record the unique nightlife before they were gone forever. 

 

For this issue we continued to draw Beijing’s dynamic night scene - namely Cellar Door and Ramo on their dying days, the revival of Jiao bar as Nina and School bar with their continued dedication to provide great underground music.
